We are happy to announce that Risk Point recently appointed Kellie Jenkins as Para Consultant. Kellie has a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics & Finance) from Curtin University and has recently embarked on her MBA with the same University.

The risk management briefing session, “Achieving Successful Risk Management” was held at the Western Australia Club on Friday March 18th was a success with thirty five risk managers attending. Laurie Treloar, Head of Business and Operations Risk for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation was our guest speaker talking on “Control Freak or Cultural Change”. This was followed by the ERA software presentation. The function set up at the Western Australia Club. March 2005

Risk Point will host a risk management briefing session in March at the Western Australian Club (see events). The session is aimed at managers and executives who are interested in risk management and how it can improve their business.

November 2004

Risk Point’s billboard in Central Park car park has been moved to its new location, and is now prominently positioned. Thus provides additional exposure for the business.

October 2004

Peter Moore has successfully obtained Certified Practicing Risk Manger (CPRM) status. The CPRM accreditation was attained during the weekend prior to the inaugural annual conference of the Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA).

July 2004

Risk Point has been awarded a contract to conduct a State-wide risk management systems review for a major Government agency in Western Australia. The project involves reviews across the State and is the first of its kind.

June 2004

Peter Moore has obtained accreditation as Methodware Certified Trainer for ERA version 5. Methodware is a world leader in the provision of risk management software. Certification comes on top of Risk Point being appointed Certified Solutions Partner for Methodware .

May 2004

The trade mark applications for the names RISK POINT and RISKVIEW have been successfully completed. These names are now registered trade marks, further strengthening Risk Point’s position in the risk management industry.

April 2004

Risk Point has successfully completed an alignment risk workshop for one of its clients on a major resources project. The $1.2B engineering and construction project is part of the massive growth in the demand for natural mineral resources from Western Australia.

October 2003

Risk Point has moved to its new premises at 38 Oxford Close Leederville. The new premises will provide room for expansion and close access to the city.
